Caelwen Cole
I’m Caelwen and I’m so glad you’ve found your way here.
If you're facing difficult situations or feeling overwhelmed, know that you're not alone. Life has knocked me down a few times too, and I understand how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help. I honor your courage in reaching out and am here to offer my full presence, compassion, and clinical knowledge to support you.
I’m a pre-licensed marriage and family therapist working under the supervision of Coleen Dixon, passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate challenges and strengthen connections. With a trauma-informed lens, I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where healing can unfold. My primary method is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based, integrative model, but I adapt my approach to fit your unique needs and goals. In therapy, we’ll work together to shift patterns that might be holding you back, empowering you to build deeper, more fulfilling relationships with yourself and others. Even small changes can spark ripple effects in your life and the lives of those you love.
Since building a strong connection is important for our work together, here’s a bit about my journey to help you get to know me better:
My interest in therapy began early, growing up with a father who was both a pastor and a marriage and family therapist. His work deeply influenced me, and I was always eager to learn about the power of therapy in helping others. Our family moved often due to his role, allowing me to experience a variety of cultures and communities across the U.S. and Canada.
I’ve been married for over 25 years and raised four children, navigating the ups and downs of family life. Along the way, I’ve also explored side ventures like running a small bread-baking business and computer drafting for an engineer. I’m curious by nature and love to learn. Outside of work, I enjoy family time, live music, baking, travel/adventure, animals, spending time in nature, and practicing yoga.
I am excited to connect and support you on your journey.
