EMDR Intensives
Focused healing that goes beyond weekly therapy
Sometimes weekly therapy is exactly what’s needed. Other times, healing requires more focused time, deeper immersion, and space to fully process what has been carried for years.
EMDR Intensives are designed for individuals who are ready to move beyond survival patterns and experience meaningful, accelerated healing in a supportive and intentional environment.
Unlike traditional weekly therapy, intensives provide extended sessions over one or multiple days, allowing us to move more deeply into the work without the constant stop-and-start of a 50-minute session.
What Is an EMDR Intensive?
An EMDR Intensive is a customized therapy experience that combines preparation, nervous system regulation, trauma processing, and integration in a concentrated format.
Intensive formats may include:
* Half-day sessions
* Full-day sessions
* Multi-day intensives
* Extended EMDR sessions
* Personalized preparation and follow-up support
Every intensive is tailored to your unique history, goals, nervous system capacity, and readiness for trauma work.
Who Are Intensives For?
EMDR Intensives can be especially helpful for:
* High-functioning professionals who struggle to commit to weekly therapy
* Individuals feeling “stuck” despite years of therapy
* Trauma survivors seeking deeper healing work
* Clients navigating burnout, anxiety, overwhelm, or attachment wounds
* Perinatal trauma, birth trauma, infertility, miscarriage, or postpartum experiences
* Betrayal trauma and relationship wounds
* Individuals preparing for or recovering from major life transitions
* Those wanting focused healing without months or years of weekly sessions
My Approach
I practice EMDR through the lens of attachment, nervous system regulation, and relational healing. My approach is active, collaborative, and deeply attuned to your emotional safety.
As an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training, I integrate evidence-based trauma treatment with warmth, presence, and individualized care.
Healing is not about forcing yourself to “push through.” It is about helping the nervous system finally experience safety, processing unresolved experiences, and creating space for lasting change.
What to Expect
Every intensive begins with a thorough consultation and assessment process to determine fit and readiness.
Your intensive may include:

* Personalized treatment goals
* Resourcing and nervous system preparation
* EMDR processing sessions

* Integration planning and follow-up recommendations
Snacks, breaks, and pacing are intentionally built into the experience to support sustainable and effective processing.
Common Outcomes
While every person’s experience is unique, clients often report:
* Reduced emotional reactivity
* Greater nervous system regulation
* Increased clarity and self-understanding
* Relief from trauma symptoms
* Improved relationships and boundaries
* Decreased anxiety, shame, or emotional overwhelm
